- Over 500 hours of recent additional training in care management,
advocacy, mediation, caregiver issues, dementia care, hospice and end-of-life issues, chronic disease management, family dynamics, driving concerns, nutrition and hydration, continence issues, etc.

Michele has over twenty years of involvement in organizations that serve the elderly of the North Bay, including:
- L.I.T.A. (Love Is the Answer, a nursing home volunteer visitor

Personal
Michele knows first-hand of the many issues, challenges and rewards facing family caregivers. She and her family cared for her grandparents in their final years, and her Mother currently lives with her and her husband.
